"Old School Cool"

Just had to share a wonderful shoot that took place on a very hot August day. If you recall a post I did back in August called a "Cheerful Space" here is the feature I shot for the current issue of BC Home. Hands down, this IS the most cheerful and happy space I've ever been in. You can't help but smile when surrounded by the brilliant yellow walls and eclectic finds upon entering James Boileau's home. The welcoming committee which consists of a chocolate brown lab, named Carter welcomes you with the biggest smile and wagging tail as you take in the "old school coolness" of this heritage space. My favorite feature was the massive chandelier that was originally from Hotel Vancouver.

I loved shooting this space, it was a great way to end off the week. I admit, I left feeling giddy on that hot Friday afternoon.

Don't want summer to end...

Well, there goes the long weekend. This week kids are back in school and in a way we all start up a new routine to welcome in fall. I do like the way the air gets a little crisp and the leaves turn a nice color but this year I'm really not ready to let go of my flip flops, anytime soon. I guess you can say that this post is really all about hanging onto summer for a little while longer.

Have a nice week!
