Pretty leaves, pumpkins and two houses

Hello new week! My apologies for not posting ...... I finally had to succumb to work and let go of blogging for a couple of weeks but had a chance to stop and enjoy what was going on around me ..... the gorgeous colours in the trees are amazing!!! Here in Vancouver, we have had the most beautiful weather, a perfect recipe for bright beautiful leaves . Autumn Tracey Ayton Photography

We also took a drive over to Westhelm Island Herb Farm over in Ladner to pick out our pumpkins. The bridge to get over there was only a one lane swing bridge made in 1910.

A few of my photos made it into the Province AND the Globe And Mail this past weekend for an article about two lovely Tudor homes on the west side that are slated for demolition. These houses really tug at my heart and hopefully this article will help spread the word about what is happening to our heritage homes.

Tracey Ayton Photography Hello Fall

Here's a home that we shot while taking the latest inventory on what's getting torn down in Vancouver ... Sadly, so pretty. Make sure to come to "The Word On The Street" Exhibition at The Moat Gallery (Vancouver Library) There will be a few photos that I have taken of these old homes that have been demolished. The show is a quick one and only runs next weekend, Sept 28-29th... I look forward to seeing you there.

Well hello, is everyone that lives in Vancouver enjoying this brilliant weather?? I keep imagining that we are only in the middle of July and won't be seeing winter come anytime soon. However, mother nature is still on route and it certainly showed when I walked passed this amazing stone wall that had pumpkins growing all down it. CRAZY!!!!! I just had to share.
