Cozy Up

I don't know about where you are but here in Vancouver we have had non stop rain for about a week.... this isn't out of the ordinary for us but it's been cold and the wind paid us a visit too so all I want to do is cozy up in bed. Here's a very pretty bedroom I shot for Rachel Harrison over at RoomCraft This bedroom is bright, beautiful and cozy. Just the stuff I'm looking for on such a dark dreary day. Rachel hasn't missed a detail and I have to say it's one of the prettiest bedrooms ever. Stay warm out there folks!

Andrea Johnson Design featured in Style At Home Magazine

How was everybody's holiday? Mine was really nice, spending lots of time with my friends & family and am fully rested and ready to start the New Year with much anticipated inspiration. My very good friend and client, Andrea from Andrea Johnson Design has a VERY deserved feature in the latest Style At Home in the February issue. This master bathroom is the epitome of Andrea's ability to combine glamour, class, pretty and practicality in the spaces she designs. With the soft curves of the bath tub, the tiled, yes TILED floor that looks like wood, which is installed in a herringbone pattern, along with the gold touches ….. this bathroom is as elegant as they get.

Takin a "breather" ....

Just wanted to pop by to take a break from some necessary editing and do a post on taking a "breather" from it all... Is that a word?  Things have been insanely busy for me, and I'm always very thankful for work.   This blog gives me space to post what I want and not always what I have to.  It's times like these where I need to recognize when to slow down and just have fun with my photography.  Here are some images that remind me why I do what I do and what they encompass to make them what they are and for me it's the intimacy, the texture and light that create a beautiful photo. This week will prove to be another very busy week but after reflecting on this, I am once again, good to go.    ~Enjoy ~
