A Pretty Home filled with lights, featured in BC Living Magazine

A friend of mine, Claudine has a wonderful eye and is so resourceful when it comes to collecting vintage stuff for the home. In her spa, Bioethique Certified Organic, you'll notice a lot of reclaimed items such as a fireplace, wood floors, lighting fixtures and small trinkets. She let me know that she had recently installed a large portion of her collection of pendant lighting at her client/friend, Jenna Girard's home. Knowing what I do for a living, Claudine introduced me to Jenna and knew I would enjoy photographing her exquisite home designed by Formwerks Architectural Inc. I'm happy to say that it's featured in the latest issue of BC Living Magazine. Jenna 1 Tracey Ayton Photography

Happy new week! My apologies for not doing a post last week, things have been a little delirious around here with work and the fact that it's summer certainly plays a part. I thought I would share some snaps I did for 18KARAT while shooting their latest catalogue. A big part of my job is taking pictures of beautiful spaces and pretty little details .... (Lucky me) Most times I have very talented people working with me in order to make the scene a beautiful one. In this case, I have Zoe & Jeannine to thank, two very talented girls who worked tirelessly to get the job done. Every time I looked up, they had another pretty scene set up for me to shoot, I was like a kid in a candy store ready to snap away.

Amanda Evans showcase at Once A Tree Furniture

Happy new week! To all of my fellow Canadians who live in BC, I hope you had a lovely holiday Monday. Mine was certainly heightened by the lovely sunshine we've been having. This week I wanted to introduce to you a really cool designer, in whom has turned into quite a good friend:

I have worked with Amanda Evans from Twenty One Two Designs on several occasions and I have been completely blown away. The girl is a firecracker, her talent is obvious in the incredibly glamorous and crazy beautiful interiors, she designs. I had the opportunity to photograph Amanda's latest project: Once A Tree Furniture's Designer Showcase Series. This is where Amanda designed a master bedroom .... one that I found hard to leave because it was so inviting and cozy. Amanda's showcase "Comfortable Luxury" is on until mid September. You can see more of Amanda's work and more on the showcase here. Keep your eyes peeled on this one people, Amanda is going places!!!
