So how did you all survive losing one hour of sleep this weekend? I have to admit that I had a caffeine fuelled iced cafe mocha drink far too close to my bed time so I hardly slept and before I knew it, it was already 4 am!!! Ah well, I digress...... This week I wanted to share with you a few snaps of the Spring 2014 catalogue for 18KARAT. I just love the simplicity of their pieces. Have a great week!
What a glorious day to celebrate Easter. Here are a few things that are happening around my household ....... Our street is lined with these beautiful cherry blossoms. The eggs are all decorated for Easter and lastly, here is a little hint on my "little but big surprise" I'll unveil on Tuesday morning. Looks like bunny feet doesn't it. Can you guess?
We had a bout of sunshine here in Vancouver over the weekend and I heard we are in for a smidge more. The little white flowers in my garden called snow drops are a sure sign that spring is in the air. Dare I say snow?? But every year when I see these little flowers that drop their heads so gently I can't help but get excited. In celebration, I decided to make some cookies that share the same name. When the sun shines like it did yesterday, I can almost taste spring and forget about snow. Here's my Snowdrop cookie recipe. My apologies it's not gluten free but I'm sure for those that would like to make it gluten free, the recipe is pretty simple to substitute. ~ ENJOY
